A lot happened since we posted our H2 roadmap: staking, buyback & burn, voting rewards distribution...

Let's first go over what we recently shipped and its impact on $NS going forward, before sharing details on the retroactive voting rewards airdrop
We launched staking last month, enabling users to boost their voting power and have greater control over the future of SuiNS
Almost 25.5M tokens, or over 12% of the circulating supply, are currently being staked by 133k+ wallets 🌿
The buyback & burn contracts were deployed last week, with 80% of name registrations and renewals now used to burn $NS
A new UI will be added to the homepage in the coming days to track purchases and burns. Supply is on a deflationary path 🔥
Adding more utility to $NS has been one of our main focus since launch:

🌿 Boosted voting power with staking

Users who voted on previous proposals will receive their fair share of rewards for spooky season 👻
There will be no claim site, rewards will be distributed automatically as staked tokens with boosted voting power and visible on
Anyone who voted on a SuiNS DAO proposal qualifies for retroactive rewards. Allocations will be based on:
🗳️ How many proposals you voted on
⌛️ Your votes' consistency and timing
🗓️ The date of your earliest vote
The earlier you voted, the longer your $NS has been staked for, and the more voting power you've accumulated
Governance contributions should be rewarded as to strengthen the DAO, and this airdrop celebrates users who've been shaping the future of SuiNS with us 🥂
We will shortly announce the date of the governance proposal to elect the new SuiNS Council team. The more voting power you have, the greater your share of the rewards pool 🙌
