🚨 Personal Warning To Our Community: we got scammed by @Eth_Danx, Please Read
Hi everyone,
I’m writing this from a place of hurt and hope. A few days ago, one of our team members found @Eth_Danx speaking about web3 on a @JupiterExchange space, we talked with him and he offered us a marketing deal and claimed to be affiliated with services i trust. Like @JupiterExchange and @solflare, What followed was a calculated scam that cost me a lot of funds and confidence, and i’m sharing this so others don’t have to go through the same thing.
What happened to me (my truth, in my own words) It started with a casual conversation, then turned into claims about “special access” and guarantees that sounded convincing.
The person used @JupiterExchange and @solflare credibility to gain trust from us, and kept promising us marketing deals, he talked with me in dms and requested informations like my real name etc.. i trusted him and gave him those informations, including my home address, i felt pressure rising and, honestly, fear of missing out. i tried to verify, but the situation escalated before i could be sure what was legitimate.
What happened as a result:
I ended up losing money ($2500) to a scammer (@Eth_Danx) who used manipulative tactics in DMs. He kept sweet talking and talked to me like i was his friend… only to end up TRAGEDIC !! I’m sharing this now to protect others and to seek collective wisdom on how to prevent future incidents.
