I see a lot of people (smaller creators) complaining about getting kicked, so it's definitely not just bots and AI slop. I think this is a great thing, let me explain to you below, before you get mad: They added a threshold. It seems the algo finally took into consideration the total amount of Yaps, not just leaderboard focus. Got removed? Easy - just get more yaps. This was telegraphed by @Punk9277 months ago, since I remember discussing it with him in the comments way back when, and he most recently expanded on it 9 days ago. In all honesty, this was expected, and its very simple, I underlined it in the picture below but basically how I see it: Yaps = Proof of Influence (part of the Zeitgeist, modern discourse) Project Leaderboards = Proof of Focus/Alignment Your Placement on Leaderboards = Influence + Alignment If you're not a notable voice generally (I dread using this term already, but less cringe words elude me), how can your contributions be notable? If anything, this is an extremely positive. I don't know why people are complaining about this, lol - its LITERALLY pushing you to be a more versatile creator rather than a one trick pony for 2 projects you want to get a payout from, and then move on to the next one. Go get those 100 yaps or whatever the threshold is, Patriot.
Kaito changed their ranking algorithm today. You'd want to pay attention to this if you're a CONSISTENT yapper. Here's some of the changes I've observed, feel free to add yours: • Mostly eliminated bots and low quality yappers • This seems to affect the 30D and 3M somehow the most, as my ranking has substantially improved on these, for example @TheoriqAI I am #2 on the 30D, which I was in the #4-#7 area before for. • I appeared (as did many others) on a few more boards which I have indeed mentioned a few times, but wasn't displaying before (@irys_xyz most notably, as well as @Zcash from earlier this week) It seems they have added a loyalty and consistency bonus, or rather, reinforced it as it was always present. Looking good here.
