Quick story to share, might help a few of people: I wanted to bridge ~1010 USDC from Base to @Katana. I was thinking I could use the native bridge but I realized it only goes from Ethereum to Katana (at least for now). It'd be too expensive to go mainnet and then bridge so...

I looked at the other bridging option provided by Katana in collaboration with Fun(.)xyz. It would be near instant bridging but I would lose around 6$ in fees. With all the opportunities on Katana, that isn't too bad, but I still wanted to look for other ways first.

Then I realized LBTC is native on Katana. So I checked @AerodromeFi to see the fees of swapping USDC to LBTC. It would be $0.20. Then I checked bridging from Base to Katana using the @Lombard_Finance bridge, It would be $0.25.

Now the transaction isn't instant but using @chainlink CCIP bridge in the background it's super secure took about 10-15mins for LBTC to arrive on Katana.

And then I can use @SushiSwap to swap it back into USDC or AUSD. In the end, I think the whole process cost just over $1. But I'm also wondering if I want to even sell the LBTC anymore 😅
