I want a “stablecoin” that:
- is not tied to fiat
- is not regulated in any way
- cannot be frozen or stopped by tyrants
- does not require AML KYC to use
Why is this too much to ask for? Are we so beaten down that even asking for basic freedom seems extreme now?
What a weird sad world that we, the supposed “cypherpunks” as an industry celebrate the government making sure the above can’t be done while pushing Bitcoin in to the rails of the system.
It’s all illegitimate, all immoral all unethical.
Money should be whatever the people want and with absolutely no state interference.
First DAPP on the FOGO testnet: Try Valiant
Valiant is a CLOB-based DEX that combines the advantages of both CEX and DEX on the Fogo chain.
I tried it out, but it seems that the order book hasn't been implemented yet, and only the swap and pool functions are available.
1⃣ First, you need tokens, so get some from the FAUCET.
It's good to receive all three.
If it doesn't work well, holding at least 1 SOL in your wallet should help you receive them better. (Priority)
2⃣ Swap the tokens needed to create an LP in the Valiant Trade tab.
3⃣ In the Pools tab, select the LP pool you created and provide liquidity.
4⃣ You can check the pool you added in the Position tab.
It's really easy, right? Since the testnet has just launched, the DAPPs only have very simple functions available, so it would be good to try it out when you have time!
However, on the FOGO chain, the wallet confirmation window doesn't pop up when you add a transaction; it just confirms immediately when you press the button. It's my first time experiencing such a chain, and it's quite fascinating...
Overall, it's fast and user-friendly, but I'm a bit concerned about confirming scam transactions, so I think you should be cautious when pressing the button.
