This new law now establishes a legal framework for digital payment tokens (stablecoins) thereby acknowledging them as bona fide parts of the financial system, rather than as some sort of oblique novelty.
In conjunction with broader token legislation (such as the CLARITY Act. which draw the line between difital commodities and securities) and RWA mas adoption soon to come, Aptos stands in a unique position to outshine in the new era.
It will be quite promising to come back to this post following the growth of stablecoin issuance and successive upgrades to the chain.
