Why is InfiniSVM, a 1M TPS Chain that is infinitely scalable, necessary? Web3 is slow, and users are waiting. Gas fees are skyrocketing, and transactions are delayed. Currently, most blockchain infrastructures are not meeting the speed, latency, and determinism levels required by AI & HFT, leading to slow progress. @Basement_HQ #SpeedSprint
So what has emerged is InfiniSVM. InfiniSVM has chosen a different approach from existing chains, and the core of InfiniSVM is the goal of 1 million TPS (currently 340,000 TPS based on the devnet), a network bandwidth of over 100 Gbps, reducing latency to the microsecond level, and thanks to the MegaLeader structure, the speed and structure at which transactions are confirmed in real-time is the essence of InfiniSVM.
So how did InfiniSVM make this possible? Most L1/L2 solutions are designed based on the philosophy that anyone should be able to run a node, which is why they are CPU-based. In contrast, InfiniSVM uses FPGA/ASIC dedicated chips, which may create a barrier to entry like a Formula 1 car, but it brings overwhelming advantages in speed and latency, allowing users to have a comfortable experience. Additionally, it is fully compatible with Solana VM, so developers can use it without needing to learn new tools or code.
So, if InfiniSVM gets activated, will we be able to make more money? It doesn't necessarily mean that we can make money for sure, but from the user's perspective, it can certainly open up new profit opportunities like high-frequency AI-based automated trading or on-chain HFT, providing an environment where we can earn profits more quickly and favorably. However, I just wish they would do a $Layer buyback.
