I'm backing @kolelee_ to build Vigil as a generational company. I met Kole on campus in the deep bear of 2023. In a world where everyone was shilling AI, Kole was still willing to be the contrarian that still held conviction in crypto. Kole became my brother-in-arms as we took on the crusade of revitalizing @StanfordCrypto and I had the pleasure of introducing him to the @PanteraCapital family - first as an intern and now as a portfolio founder. From convincing Stanford to buy BTC at 46k, to SOL at <20, to HYPE and even Fartcoin, I've learnt that whenever Kole has deep conviction in something, some magic is bound to happen. Vigil is just the latest iteration of that - a deep seated conviction that AI will not only reimagine trading, but more importantly introduce entirely new categories of asset managers – "bionic traders" that are augmented by machines, a cybernetic vision that values human conviction as much as AI information sourcing.
